Heh score, MTA transit strike served as an excuse for me to stay home from school today. Spent entire day in front of my computer and playing guitar. Ended up running into a kernel panic on my archlinux and learning to play “Here Comes the Sun”. How random. And of course, I am back to my habit of getting depressed right after my birthday, which lasts until April/May. No one shows love in the winter :(

Someone get me a whole lotta love for Christmas, please?

R.I.P. John Winston Ono Lennon
October 9, 1940 – December 8, 1980

Thank You for all the peace and love and rock n’ roll that you have brought to this world. If it wasn’t for you, I would have never picked up a guitar. You will always live in everyone’s hearts. All we are saying is give peace a chance.

That was my little tribute to my hero. I can also proudly say that I have attended his memorial today at

I was kind of disappinted that it wasn’t that many people there but hopefully more will come by tonight. Too bad we had to leave early-ish, but the trip was worth it. I just kinda regret that I couldn’t sing Imagine while holding up a lighter. Next year, hopefully.

John Lennon’s (as Daniel put it) shrine:

Jammin’:

And it’s also nice to see that myspace users are showing some love. Last time I checked, the Beatles page had over 150 comments just for today.

Imagine there’s no heaven,
It’s easy if you try,
No hell below us,
Above us only sky,
Imagine all the people
Living for today…

Imagine there’s no countries,
It isn’t hard to do,
Nothing to kill or die for,
No religion too,
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace…

Imagine no possesions,
I wonder if you can,
No need for greed or hunger,
A brotherhood of man,
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world…

You may say Im a dreamer,
But Im not the only one,
I hope some day you’ll join us,
And the world will live as one.

Peace (give it a chance)

Well this weekend I took a little trip to Daniel’s place in Pennsylvania. Beer, sauna, and The Breakfast Club really go together well.

Umm… a valley?

Lake near his place. Beauty.

Lake. Again. Beauty.
